STUDENT WRITING HELPS
Students are required to complete various writing assignments in their course studies throughout their journey with CTS. The assignments may be as simple as Application and Truth Papers, Summary and Conclusion Papers, and Essays, or as complex and detailed as Research Papers, Ministry Projects, or a Thesis. Whatever the assignment, CTS requires a uniformed formatting for all students. This is accomplished by a required MLA, APA, and Turabian style formatting of assignments.
To help you understand and achieve the required formatting styles, we have compiled several resources to make the process easy. Below are several resource options to assist you. For more help or more information, contact our home office during business hours.

STUDENT STUDY TOOLS
If you have been in a CTS classroom for any length of time (virtually or in person), you have heard our Professors or Deans say something like this: "We do not want students to be commentary dependent. We want you to be Bible dependent.” That is our goal. We seek to equip you in such a way that you can exhaust the scripture in every way possible before you ever need a commentary. In our Student Study Tools Resources we have many valuable resources to help you mine the depths of scripture through word studies, the analysis of language, context, topic and usage comparison, and more. In addition, there are many useful commentaries and books that we have found to be excellent sources once the work has been done that will confirm the effort of your study.
Below are several resources that we recommend. For more information, or to ask questions about the use of these resources, contact our home office during business hours.
